Born and raised in a city (that you’ve probably never heard of) outside of Boston, MA, Jennifer was fascinated with fashion, makeup and film as a young gal. Post high school she worked in visual merchandising and with developmentally disabled children while furthering her education, studying fashion merchandising and costume design. After working on a production of Grapes of Wrath, doing both costumes and makeup, Jennifer realized she needed to turn her dream of being a makeup artist into reality. She then sold all of her treasures, said goodbye to her old life and drove to Los Angeles with a car full of essentials and her tiny freeloading pup, Spaghette, to study at the Make-Up Designory in Burbank, CA. Over the years, she’s assisted and worked alongside some incredibly talented artists who have helped her fine tune not only her makeup and hair skills but also the interpersonal skills required when you’re working as a team on set. Jennifer and Spaghette now live in La Quinta, CA, and when she’s not traveling to Los Angeles or San Diego creating characters or getting women and men gussied up for red carpet events, Jennifer is going on adventures, making miniatures and enjoying the challenges and rewards that come along with having your dream job.
